Privacy Policy

Revantex (“we,” “us”) provides the Revantex AI Concierge app for Shopify (the “App”). This policy explains what data the App accesses, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights.

Information we access and collect

When you install the App on your Shopify store, we access and process:

• Store & product data — your product catalog (titles, descriptions, prices, images, availability) via the read_products scope, plus basic store information (store name and domain). We request the minimum access needed to power the concierge.
• Merchant account data — an offline access token and session details required to connect your store to the App.
• Shopper-provided information — when a shopper chooses to share their name and email with the concierge (for example, to be contacted about a product), we collect that lead on your behalf and deliver it to you.

We do not access customer orders, payment information, or personal customer data beyond the leads shoppers voluntarily provide.

How we use your data

• To sync your catalog so the AI concierge can recommend your products and answer shopper questions accurately.
• To generate concierge responses. Shopper messages and relevant product data are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to produce replies; this data is processed to generate responses and is not used to train third-party models.
• To capture leads and deliver them to you.

Data storage and processing

• Store, catalog, and lead data are stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Supabase (United States), protected with row-level security and encrypted connections.
• AI responses are generated using the Anthropic API.
• The application is hosted on Vercel.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with the subprocessors needed to operate the App — Anthropic (AI responses), Supabase (storage), and Vercel (hosting) — and only as required to deliver the service.

Data retention and deletion (GDPR / CCPA)

• We honor Shopify’s mandatory data-privacy webhooks. When you uninstall the App or request redaction, we delete your store’s associated data (catalog, configuration, and captured leads).
• Shoppers may request access to or deletion of their personal data; requests routed through Shopify’s customer data-request and redaction webhooks delete matching lead records.

Security

• Least-privilege access (read_products only).
• Encrypted data in transit; row-level security on stored data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
